Genius Hour

😎 Hey everyone , this week has been filled with running around tiring to sell pepperettes to everyone I know. Sales have not been fantastic but it has been a good opportunity to visit with people I have not seen in a long tome. Most of the customers are looking forward to getting out and about as well as  asking about our next Bar b q. those are some of our better social interactions.Our next meeting will be at the end of the month and that's when we will place meat order and decide on next fundraiser.

 This week for my Genius Hour, I will highlight what some negatives can look like when volunteering as part of a group.  I would like to talk about issues that I have seen arise with possible resolutions. Often times disagreements may arise during discussions when it comes to ways or how to raise funds. Trying to see eye-to-eye is easier said than done and takes some effort keeping the focus of a group on a main goal.  Debates and sharing of ideas are both important ways to brainstorm ideas, but should be done in a respectful manner. Just remind myself of our slogan Whatever it takes! - Where I go from here in this Journey is don't stop believing hang on to that feeling!  -''you know , I'm all for progress. It's change I object to'' Mark twain said this but I feel it works for me in this situation. Also, I am stubborn and Irish. - I enjoyed talking with some new -I have learned that even if I am not totally rocking the IT keep rolling on and it will work ...

   WEEK 5 This week I was happy to hand over a check to our cheerleader team.  We were lucky enough to raise $1000 to give the cheerleaders $750.00 through sales and $250 donation The money was raised  for new uniforms that were desperately needed.   Our next fundraiser is  Deli Dude it is a pepperette fundraiser. that usually brings us in around $500.00  This will be our second time using this sponsor
