Week 3: FODA Hosting: Friday Night Lights

-

Week 3's Genius Hour Project shown below, Friends of Delhi Athletics decided to host "Friday Night Lights" coming in the Fall. FODA will come together to fund this event that will take place at the local high school.  Various fundraisers will consist of a BBQ and selling krispy kreme donuts. Other ideas we're discussed, but were not chosen due to start up costs. FODA members have been spreading the word to encourage other parents to be part of the committee. Some issues arouse such as disagreements surrounding what fundraisers to use. Discussions were held with a list of pro's and con's of each idea to help guide the groups decision. Next week, the group will research and discuss "meeting minutes" to become a registered committee which will then allow us to sell lottery for fundraising.
